Who Is Humidor Habana?

Hey, how's it going! My name is Joe. Well, I've been smoking for a long time. I started smoking cigars when I was a teenager. We'd get a case of cheap beer, cheap wine like Mad Dog 20/20 and cigars. Then, we'd get all fucked up and smoke these big, giant 7 inch cigars. Out mouths tasted and smelled like crap with the cigars, booze and God knows what else. Smoked other stuff back then too, but won't go there! Sure was hard to put the make on chicks with that stinky breath, but hey, it was fun and we were young and stupid. Several years went by and got out of puffing cigars. Then, I started again in my later 20's and got a little more sophisticated on the subject. Started reading up on cigars and trying different brands. I've got all kinds of stogies, but some of my favorite brands that immediately come to mind: H. Upmann, Punch, Avo, Montecristo, Partagas, Tamboril, Romeo Y Julieta, Arturo Fuente, La Gloria Cubana amongst others. Also, love the Cuban brands like: Cohiba (of course!), Sancho Panzo, Punch, Bolivar, Romeo Y Julieta, Partagas, etc.

Why I smoke?

For the enjoyment. Whether chatting with friends or contemplating life by myself, there's nothing like a stogie and drink in my hand like a whiskey, Grand Marnier, or some other booze. Heck, I'll have cigars with a coffee or even a cold Coke when I'm doing some renovation work on the house. Thanks God for tobacco and if it kills me, fuck it, I'm gonna go anyways. By the way, I've got the equivalent of a master's in the medical field and am a self-employed health care professional. Definitely don't believe in all this extreme health kookiness whether it be the health nuts and their fad diets or the destruction of the body by drugs (this includes the prescription ones too) and excessive alcohol. Everything in moderation and follow the Middle Path like the wise Buddha said. I can go without a smoke for a month, two or longer and suddenly smoke a few stogies in a week.

Besides Cigars, What Else?

Well, this sounds like some fricking online dating description, but believe in spicing up life. I like to occasionally run half and full marathons amongst other fun pursuits like: motorcycling, sailing, kayaking, snow boarding, hiking, climbing, camping, traveling and generally anything that allows me to screw off and not grow up.

Now why the Humidor Habana?

As I got into cigars, I realized there weren't many cigar accessory gadget shops out there. Also, many of the purveyors of cigars didn't know much about the products they sold nor have much variety. That's when I decided to start my business AND have fun doing it. I really love the guys and gals that have been my customers thru the years. If you have a question, don't hesitate to contact me.
